Google Chrome webstore – extensions URL changed

When I opened Chrome webstore to check the weekly active users for my extension, I noticed that the number of plus one’s that my extension had got, moved down to zero.

This is because, Google has now changed (improved) the extensions’ urls (to be SEO friendly ?!)

 

 

Old url:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/boooicegpdabdahoefbdbcpnjhapkdga

New url:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/share-on-google-plus-page/boooicegpdabdahoefbdbcpnjhapkdga

The old url is redirected to the new one. so, its not much to be worried. But, the Plus Ones received by the extensions are gone.
