Labs experiment of Chrome browser (version 7 onwards) had been available in about:labs page. Now the labs page is renamed to experiments.
about:labs will no more work in Chrome, which is now changed to about:flags
Most of the users don’t like this move (me too). Check these comments.
The old, about:labs page
Google has earlier announced Google Cloud Print, which enables users to print to their printers from any remote computer, using their Google id. Google Chrome OS will be supporting Cloud print.
Chrome version 8.0.549.0,(Canary build), has a labs feature to enable Google Cloud Print service.
Chrome Version 7.0.529.0 canary build has the Labs feature “Instant” which Makes the address bar load urls as you type.
Update: about:labs has moved to about:flags in Chrome
After Google Instant, Youtube Instant, iTunes instant, now Chrome Instant is ready.
For the sites, that you have visited already, you will see the sites directly loading, before you press enter (after typing the url).

Google Chrome has a labs tab (about:labs), where Chrome developers test few Labs features. One of those is Side tabs. I don’t prefer to use Side tabs. Not sure if this will be promoted in Chrome.
The newest labs feature is Tabbed options (chrome://options), which is available now in Canary Build (Download), that brings the Browser options in a tab and makes it easier to configure the browser. (By default, Chrome opens a popup window with the options, just like any other browser).
If you want to try this, Download and install Chrome’s Canary build (auto updated every week). You can install this version of Chrome in addition to the version you are already using. Once you install, type about:labs in the address bar, to choose the labs features you want to use. Labs feature is also available on Chrome Version 7 and above.
Google has announced Labs service for Google Calendar.
It has various gadgets like World clock, Free or Busy, Next meeting, etc.
The different sidebar gadgets are shown below.
To try this, visit Google Calendar, and click on the Labs button at the top left.
Many of you might have noticed that Google has removed the Beta label from GMail today.

Google Labs has released a new form of search called Google Squared
Google Squared collects various search data similar to the search query, and also finds some important parameters / values / properties of those items and presents it in the form of a table.
From a single search result page, we get more information than we can get from any other search.
Below is a square for “Obama”.
If there is a link in your email message (GMail), linking to a
Youtube video,
Picasa photo/album,
Flickr photo/album
or Yelp, a preview of the video, photo or photo album will appear in the GMail message itself.
This makes easy for us to view the album, watch the video, browse the photos, etc, directly in the email message.
How to enable in my GMail account?
1. Go to Labs in gmail.
2. Enable “Picasa previews”, “Flickr previews”, “Youtube previews” and “Yelp previews”.
(whatever you want to enable)
3. Save changes
As I mentioned in my previous post, we can add any google gadget to our GMail page.
Let us add Orkut Birthdays gadget by Google to GMail.
If you have not activated Labs in GMail,
1. Go to Labs in gmail.
(Labs are available only in Internet Explorer 7.0+, Firefox 2.0+, Safari 3.0+, and Google Chrome.)
2. In Labs tab, under Gmail Settings, Enable “Add any gadget by URL” feature, Save changes.
3. Now Go to the Gadgets tab in Gmail settings.
4. Give the gadget‘s url as
